USCG Academy 2015 Graduation - Artwork Re-Creation

We received word that the Academy would be potentially placing an order with Military Art to have commemorative mugs for their yearly graduation, with guest President Barack Obama. Our team had a short turnaround time to complete the order before the deadline.

 

After assisting our military customers about the printing and design process, my personally accomplishment for this order revolved around the art creation. I received a rough drawing, and was able to recreate it into a twelve color vectored design ready for screen printing.

Such an important order demanded that I not only design the artwork, but also create the individual color films, and then finally print the decals.

Overseeing such a large project from the starting contract during sales, through the design process, and to the final steps of printing, was a rewarding challenge.
